fancy a birthday?

Adam turned the big 2-8 Saturday, and we partied like it was 1980. Here are the highlights:

We got a couples massage in the afternoon (I know — we're so fancy!), which, I have to say, completely wore us out. Seriously, we had to take naps to recover from the intense relaxation.
We dined at the Chef's Table in Orem (another fancy activity). Little known fact: We ate at this delicious restaurant exactly one year ago. It was the night Adam met my parents for the first time, and the night we got engaged (it was a big evening!). This time around, I think Adam actually tasted the food.
We ate cheesecake for dessert — twice! The decadent (aka fancy) dish is Adam's favorite dessert, and so we enjoyed it both at the Chef's Table AND at my parents' house for Sunday dinner. Turns out my mom makes a mean cheesecake and cran-raspberry sauce. (There was no doubt, Mom — you're pretty much a culinary genius.)

Say cheese (cake).

So why the fancy celebration? Well, I took a fancy to the birthday boy just one year and five months ago. Every now and again, I figure it's time to return the favor.

Love you, Adam! Happy 28th.
