My sister-in-law, Julie, married Mr. Travis Standley this past Saturday. Beautiful couple, beautiful day.
The weather threatened to rain on their parade, but Julie and Travis were all smiles — regardless of the dreaded droplets.
Love that. Love them.
Love this sweet moment.
Braving the rain.
It is said that Chang Li Hua of China invented the umbrella.
We thank you, Chang Li Hua.
(Yeah, I Wikipediaed it.)

Heading for cover.
Such a gorgeous family (on the insides and the outsides).
And you can't really see her because of the umbrella handle (I take it all back, Chang Li Hua!), but Kelly is holding sweet 3-week-old Ruthie in her arms.

I realize Adam isn't smiling, but I love that you can see his splattered suit.
And the picture shows off Maggie's super cute ribbon shoes.
I'm kind of obsessed with them.

Beautiful bride.
Handsome brothers, sweet babes.
(And it seems Maggie loves her shoes, too.
She's totally making a grab for them.)

We tried SO hard to get a great pic of Maggie in her perfectly plum dress.
But the shoot, of course, went mostly like this.
Purple portrait.
(Although my top looks super blue in this lighting. I swear it's "concord purple."
The store I purchased it from said so.)
Don't you just love family? I just love family.

"When it rains it pours," and it definitely poured (rain) and blessings from Heaven on Saturday. In spite of the weather we were all smiles . . . we just couldn't help ourselves! It was a perfect beginning for Julie and Travis. Thanks for all the fun pictures, Bri, love you!
you just feel the love and joy when you look at these pictures!
Her dress is gorgeous.
Such a Fun day and a Beautiful couple... can you believe their married? So in love with Maggie's shoe fetish!
actually, the great thing about rain is that it produces gorgeous pictures, the colors are so vibrant. How's that for a silver lining?
Looks lovely. And how cute is Margaret's dress???
I agree with Ali, you were able to get some pretty amazing pictures thanks to the rain. Congrats to Julie and Travis!
You have a darling family! And Norah has those same shoes, although she does not have the same love for them that Maggie does.
LOVE it :)
I love a good wedding. And I love a fat, purple baby. So grapey. I want to pinch her cheeks but that would probably make her cry so I wont.
What a lovely day, in spite of the rain! Everyone looks so happy for the bride and groom--and for just being together. Congrats to Julie and Travis AND the Stewart family!
